The Dark Tribe favors stealth and subterfuge as their preferred means of dominating Mordor on behalf of the Dark Lord , whom they have a fanatical reverence for. Adept at ambushes, double-crosses, and battlefield trickery, they wield power beyond what their numbers would suggest. Other tribes prefer not to deal the Dark Tribe if they can help it, because they believe betrayal is inevitable. But when a troublesome Warchief can't be removed through other means, a word to the Dark Tribe can often suffice to get the job done.
Gameplay
Those of the Dark Tribe don dark-colored armor and usually have black face paint of varying pattern and form.
Orcs who are part of the Dark Tribe are able to execute "Dark Strikes", a series of quick slashes with two curved blades. The Uruk who is about to throw this attack will sheathe its Class-specific weapon before charging at Talion with the blades already in hand. Talion can either dodge the initial strike or counter all the way through the series of attack to avoid damage; dodging following strikes are almost impossible due to the tiny window in-between slashes.
A region controlled by Dark fortresses will have dark metallic decor on the buildings with the fortress shrouded in dark atmosphere. Statues of the Dark Lord can also be found within fortress and outposts grounds, even if the region is controlled by you. There are also strange laboratories all across the fortress and outposts, where Uruks work on concocting poisons. Talion can shoot the cauldron to cause a balefire explosion, burning and poising all within its radius
